Abstract: Project Daedalus is a hypothetical research project on Nuclear Fusion propulsion to travel to Barnard’s star. While the 1978 research project is a hypothetical study on interstellar travel and the engineering related to fusion propulsion, the research done is one of the most comprehensive on this subject so far. With the increasing power demands of the human race, as well as the changing tide in the interest of space travel, Project Daedalus is a comprehensive, detailed study on this niche, exploratory field. Therefore, a research presentation has been made to teach the mechanics of Inertial Confinement Fusion (ICF) and illuminate the possibilities of interstellar travel.
